I have been to morning matins and am due to go for even song, in between helping out at a homeless shelter. Do you think this will ensure I don't burn in hell?
I would also add you seem to be an attractive young thing, just what the church needs. Perhaps you should try visiting one day and praying for your salvation. Please remember to blow...sorry bow to the priest or vicar on your way out.

I only go to a church when the police scanner says there is one fully involved in flames. Nothing quite so nice as a good church fire.

i dont think it is right for anyone to take the p**s everyone is different. i am 31 now i used to go to church when i was a little girl, up till i was 13 when i lost my brother. i gave up then. but, i go sat eve's sometimes now. my kids are being brought up as catholic. and even though some people think it is a load of b******s it is not and no one has the right to preach that. keep your opinions to yourself. some people might be offended. also IF you go to church it does no mean you are a 'BIBLE BASHER'

I go to church every sunday and if my time permits everyday. God give me this life and i owe it to my creator to give back to him a portion of my day in a week. i don't see it as a waste of time but rather as an opportunity to grow more in Christ and humble myself before him.
I know i can pray/talk to God anywhere and on any given hour in a day, but it is nice to pray as a community too. And that is the essence of going to church, for me.

I just got in from walking the dog and it was so nice to see all the youngsters on their way to Church with their Bibles in their hands so I stopped one and asked him which Church he was going to and he replied "Don't be silly - we're taking our videos back !"

Why would I do that? I can demonstrate my belief in superstitious mumbo-jumbo any day of the week, and there are more interesting things to do on a sunday :)

You people make me sick. You shun others when they go to church yet you expect to get married there and have funeral there. As far as I'm concerned if you don't go, you may as well get married in a bus depot and get buried in a quarry.
