it amazes me that after morales was demolished in the 2nd bout that people thought he had a chance in this rubber match...remember, pacman is the only boxer in morales' storied career that put him in the canvas in their second bout...it is only appropriate that he was put away in this manner if only because he made unnecessary barbed comments towards pacquiao and roche and had the gall to think he had a ghost of a chance...in the end i suppose it was wishful thinking for those folks that things would turn out well for "el terrible" and i just hope pacman didnt make a mistake in not fighting barrera first for the titles...if i were barrera i would find a way to avoid the pacman after seeing this devastating display of power by the pacman (and its all the more amazing after it was disclosed after the fight that the pacman was suffering from a fever and tonsillitis when he stepped on the ring). Pacman is a much more seasoned fighter since his knockout of barrera a couple of years back....there is no reason to believe he will not suffer the same fate in a rematch...if those who thought morales had a chance arent convinced of pacman's greatness and superiority over all in the division, they never will be until all are swept away...next stop barrera, then marquez then manny will move up to further increase his now legendary status.......

Im saddened by the fact that they have lost their bets on morales.....they should have looked upon first at how each fighters matched up at their fights, like how they won their fights over each other...because morales won the first fight because there's a cut on manny's face and the blood almost blinded him which eventually causes him to lose that game, while on the second match, manny KO'ed morales, which i think is a better basis on who the better fighter was....not just who was experienced in boxing, but who has the guts to finish the fight....just in my humble opinion...

I think that it's understandable that Mexicans would support Morales, the same way that Flipinos are with Pacquiao all the way. In fact, it was on the news last night that many Filipinos have saved their money in order to make a bet on who's gonna win between Pacman & Morales, but haven't been able to since they couldn't find a betting partner : all Filipinos were betting on Pacman. All i know is that Pacquiao is the pride of all Filipinos, especially for us who are working overseas. Mabuhay si Pacman!

well What I have to say: Have you lost your mind?! I watched both their training in the internet and just look at Manny's a jog of 45min. in the hills of L.A. with ab work out followed by eating then 12 rounds of practice but sometimes manny wants more. Manny has speed, agillity, and everything needed.

I don't think that many people thought morales would actually win. If they did, it was more of their heart deciding then their actual brain. I can't say anything about other people, because you will always support your countrymen where ever you are from. To me, if you step in the ring and give the best you got, win or lose you get propers from me.

Well, I think that those persons are only underestimating Filipinos. They thought that, Filipinos have no talents and expertise. They have their own field, and that happened to be boxing. Filipinos are very famous in boxing and I think Mexicans are now afraid to fight with a Filipino boxer because Filipinos are strong and determined to win no matter what will happen. Not only in boxing that Filipinos excel, also in billiards. Remember that the 2006 World Cup Champion, Alcano was a Filipino.
