Above, below, stronger, weaker...you just haven't got this yet, have you? In every relationship there is one person who has more power than the other. The person with less power is the person more emotionally involved, more 'in love'. My late wife and I talked about this and she was convinced that I had the power in the relationship. I was convinced that she did. That's equal.

Date someone who will walk with you, who will be a ''little'' above you here and there, and a ''little'' below you here and there, maintain the balance and also make up for the ''little'' above and below things that would be missing in you. Sounds good to me. No, there is nothing such as ''perfectly equal''. No matter how happy it looks, it can never be, life would be boring if it was that way. I feel sorry for people who do end up with people who are weaker than themselves or keep up with their stronger partner, but thats the whole part of it, you see, it depends on what you or I or anyone else think and define on what exactly ''weak'' and ''strong'' means. To each individual, weaknesses and strengths, are different, and mean a whole lot different from each other. For you ''strength'' would mean, physical strength, or some other attribute, but that would be an absolute opposite of what I mean by ''strength''.
So, nothing called perfectly equal, but there can be perfect happiness, contentment, love. Wrong judgements, communication leads to sad situations. I feel it would be a beautiful blend of good and bad, and make up for each others good and bad, that would make a relationship work. And talking about 'work'', every relationship has to be worked on too......what do you think ?

I believe in the total equality of the sexes, but that's pretty much impossible to achieve, so I'd rather have the weaker guy. I like my female power.

Someone on my same level or above, but there really isn't anyone above me...I hope this doesn't sound arrogant.
However, you raised a very good point linking gossip with witchcraft and sucking life force out of those gossiped about. Is there any connection between who is chosen as the subject of the matter, the strong or just the different? I am very curious to talk to you about this theory. Thanks

Eve was made from Adams RIB for 2 reasons...
1. The rib is on the SIDE (equal)
2. The ribs protect the heart.

Well, the thing is and I know that you know this. People who are below you might have some good qualities too and people above you might have qualities that totally suck. It's a case to case basis. And that's the purpose of dating - to get to know people more and later on, to choose.

What do you mean by this? Better looking? More money?
How do you determine that someone is above or below you? We are all just human.
Generally we do tend to be attracted those who are similar to us anyway.

It is an individual's choice. What are your aspirations in life? They will guide you to choose a mate.
