Perhaps he wasn't dead when they took him down, that would explain the Resurrection and his ability to travel

well us muslims dont believe it was Jesus on the cross.. We believe that God performed a miracle and took Jesus up to heaven, flesh and all and replaced Jesus with a common criminal that looked like him.. Jesus is alive and well under God's protection in heaven awaiting the time when he will be sent back to earth the same age as when he left, he will bring everyone that believes (christians, jews, muslims and anyone else that chooses to believe) back to the truth and will fight the evil precence on earth, win and there will be many years of peace after that, he will live a long normal life, marry, have children and die a natural death at that time...

He was beaten so bad before hand that He was already about half dead from loss of blood.
Then they stabbed him in the side after He was suffocated on the cross for over 9 hours.

He chose when he would die. I think He chose 7 hours.
