We remember that god is not doing stuff to us - god is facilitating our own, self led journey. Thoughts become things - that's god's job. If we are not happy with the way our life is going, we must change our mind and our emotional and mental patterns - that is how we communicate with god. Once we have the communication thing down, life is a lot easier and you can see that you are the one running your life, not god.

Peace!

Same way we forgive everyone else. However, we usually find it's us that needs forgiveness for disobeying or misunderstanding God, or accusing Him of things He did not do or was not responsible for.

This is an excellent question for a Christian to answer. Taking the Christian view of God it is possible to forgive him for perceived wrongs and grievances. However, the ability to forgive is a gift from God himself. The only way to forgive God, if this is found problematic, is to pray to God to send his spirit to give you the strength to forgive him. This seems paradoxical, praying to the one you need to forgive in order to forgive but it is in fact the essence of true Christian belief - God himself sets right wrongs even to the point of sending himself (Jesus who we refer to as God's Son to designate him as God-human) to suffer and die so that forgiveness could be released to the world.

Don't bother, from reading the bible I discovered the christian god is a petty egotistical meglomaniac. It was reading the bible that I realised the god that the church was teaching about is not someone I would want to ascociate myself with. If christians want to worship him then fine, but I wish they wouldn't try to force others to do so. If he was so wonderful they wouldn't need to stand in the street shouting abuse at people who really are not interested. How do you forgive god? I certainly won't after the things he did in the old testament. OK so in my opinion it isn't true anyway but in principle it scared me that people blindly follow it with out perhaps knowing everything.

There is no such thing for as forgiving God. We must stop putting the blame on him and hold ourselves accountable for our sinful nature and the irresponsible choices that we make on a daily basis. WE must repent and forgive others and ourselves. *(*

You have to believe in something to forgive it. Also i think a better question is how do we forgive ourselves? and how do we forgive humanity?

Either you've gone through a rough time in your life, or you've lost your mind.

WE are the ones who should worry about God forgiving us, not the other way around.

Watch out for your words, please.
