I don't think many people would come so mine would be a small ceremony. The only songs I want played would be "Hallelujah" by Jeff Buckley and "Requiem" by Mozart.

If you are serious, go ahead and answer. Otherwise if you want to yell at me, you can email me. Thanks.

But death is inevitable. I am not knocking your response. But if you were dead, wouldn't you rather people congregate in a ceremony that you would approve of. I know I would. I would hate it if my family had a large funeral and invited tons of people and then would be crushed when only two people showed up. So I want it this way.

Fun. I am leaving money in my will for my friends to have a big party and celebrate my demise.

I've asked my brother to begin mine with "We played these songs for the funeral home. When we turned them up to a certain point, the funeral director said that we really wouldn't want to go any louder than that. And my sisters wishes are that we go two clicks BEYOND the loudest the funeral director wished."

I'm having "Welcome to the Black Parade" and "Famous Last Words" by My Chemical Romance. And then a reading by Carl Sagan. In lieu of flowers, I'm requesting people bring a favorite bumpersticker for the casket.

Clearly, for a healthy person, I've thought about this too much. :)

I will not have a funeral. I will have a HOMEGOING. My family and friends will tell about memories of me, they will laugh, and yes some will cry. The only song I have requested is Amazing Grace played on the Bagpipes, if you have never heard it give it a try, it is beautiful.

I want a big fat party with everyone who has ever loved, or even known me to celebrate my life. I do not want tears and wailing and sadness, that is for the people left here on Earth. Celebrate that I was lucky enough to share this big ole rock with so many wonderful people, and touch so many lives when I am gone, PLEASE

I don't really want one of those, and plan not to have it! I would rather take the free gift from God that he is offering to everyone on earth today and in the past of everlasting life on a clensed earth in happiness and perfection and perfect health.

A funeral is for the people who are still here. Hopefully when they have a funeral for me I will be dead, so I won't care.
