I have always been seriously allergic to peanuts and pine nuts and was wondering if anyone has had success with desensitisation?

depending on how old you were when you found out you were allergic has alot to do with it because my son was found to be allergic to peanuts as well at the age of two we had the epi-pens and all very severe allergic reactions. however he has grown out of them and he is 4 now the doctors say the younger you find out then you should grow out of it. most people that are allergic to peanuts also have asthma as well when you go out to eat make they use soy oil not peanut oil. thats why i liked olgas and still do cause they use soy oil which is better for you anyway but they do not use peanut oil period. there is no cure for this unfortunately just hang in there and be very careful and read all the labels.

I'm not allergic to anything but my cousin is allergic to peanuts also, she can't go near ANYTHING that has peanuts in them. But my friend is allergic to watermellons but she can have little peices of them but not more or else she gets dizzy and has stomach aches.

My son is allergic to peanuts. The only way to treat a food allergy is to completely avoid the food.

One of my best friends in school is REALLY allergicc to peanuts and nuts of ANY kind. So now, since she is really allergic there is NO nuts aloud in mine or her house since she comes over all the time. So, just keep away.

There are alot of people who have an alergy to peant unfortunately it can't treated just stay away from them
