I am sorry to say, but you get what you pay for. It takes a breeder a lot of money to feed, supplement and nurture the mother and then the puppies, then all their shots, vet bills and health reports.
Really good breeders barely break even.
So think about getting a dog that is mixed with the breed you like, or be willing to invest more money.
The old saying , "Pay a little now", really means "Pay A Lot Later".
Find a reputable person, get referrals from past owners, do your homework, that dog hopefully will be with you for over 15 years.
Much better to pay a little more now, have fewer vet bills over all than get one which will require a small fortune to upkeep.
Good luck

No, and $300 Will not even come close to what the price will be.It will be more like $1000 and up. Look up breed rescues or go adopt from the shelters.

Well I hate to be the one to tel lyou this but your not going to find a English Bully for naywhere near $300...they START at about $1500.00(US).....there is a ot involved w breeding & birthing these dogs as they cannot birth puppies naturally they have to be born C-Section......you may be ablt to find one thru a rescue league or shelter but even thru rescue you'll be apying more than $300......if you want a healthy expensive dog you have to be willing to pay the money sorry thats the way it is

try and check craigslist.com in the area closest to you. there is alot of good deals with pure breeds. sometimes if your lucky, youll find someone who is just giving them away! I have four pure breed dogs, and never paid any money for them. We are currently looking at an english bull dog we may take home:) Only thing is...she's about two years old already.. Currently I have A scottish terrier, a black labrador retriever, a french bull dog, and a blue nosed pit.. I got them for free...and I love them all!

I seriously doubt that you can find one for under $1200, you might try a rescue group, sometimes you can find a breeder
that has a spayed female for sale for less but you would have to hunt down breeders

Make sure to do some research on this breed. I've heard that they are a bit high maintenance...at least breeding wise (I believe they have to give birth via c-section...not a vet though so double check...).
Lucks to ya!
