You say "I feel the same way!" It may sound silly since there's only a year between you, but it's important year. You are an adult and she is still a minor. It's great that you want to focus on school and not be a distraction to her, but I think, going by what she said, that you already are.

You can do both things! But you have to be very carefull because you are teenages and don`t have a lot of experience about those things!
At first, make clear what her feelings and intentions are because girls are shy and afraid to express themselves and so usually they laugh things off, like in this case.
But if you do start a relationship, you have to arrange your time so as not to skip school!

so tell her you're into her, start dating, and don't distract her from school. Its not as though its impossible to get good grades and date someone. But you just have to be sure not to get pissy if she cant c u b/c shes got to study, and u can't freak and start getting jealous if she has group work to do for classes. just be trusting and give her plenty of self enforced study space, and all will be well.

Well what i really thinks is that you should just take things day by day and well if you see that you are a distraction to her and her studies then slow things down....but just remember that you cant stop how your heart feels you know what i mean.

well age doesn't really matter in your situation, but maybe you could let her know that you like her too. maybe give her tiny hints or clues and if she takes a little while to catch your drift then come out and just tell her how you feel. she'll probably be really excited when you do.
