Doesnt it just add fuel to the fire? Do you really think that your answer will change such a persons heart?

"Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds" (2 John 1:9-11).

See?

The bible tells you to not even speak with these heathens.

That's what discussion and the exchange of ideas is all about. While people rarely admit it at the time, stuff you say does roll around in their heads sometimes. And it's not so much disrespect as it is that some people just don't understand Christianity. They might have a good reason for it because there are too many people who do a piss poor job of representing it.

Well disrespectfull and wrong - you can respectfully correct them; so they are correct in their disrespect.
A person can change all the time, if you word your responce the right way, so that GOD enters their conscience.
Words are powerful things, they are used to express concepts and ideas, and other scary stuff, like compassion and love.
(Yes, as well as hate, and mistrust.)
Be positive though, and have faith that good will be heard.
Add all the fuel you want, in the end GOD will be heard, and understood.

Even Jesus did answer to such kind of question.
Answer to such question is not wrong but what it would be wrong should the answer was not right and by a wrong man.

Only God can change a persons heart. Still we are obligated to glorify Him in everything we do. Sometimes that includes confronting rude, uninformed, or down right lying people. As long as we remember to do our work out of Love and not pride.

The Word of God says that with love and kindness have I drawn them. We are to be the light of the world. To some people, we are the closest they have come to people of God. We are to conduct ourselves in a manner that would be pleasing to God. I do not run from satan. With Jesus as my guide, I can do all things..........God said that if we lift Him up(regardless to who they are and how obscene they are), He is the one who will do the drawing. The main thing is that we should not answer in a way that would bring reproach upon the children of God. And you are right, if you cannot conduct yourself in that manner, then by all means don't answer. May God Bless

Maybe not, but I feel like I have to try anyway. Maybe nothing I say makes any difference, but what if it did? I also believe that these people who are trying to stir things up are really searching for something..if not, why would they be in religion topics...and do you realize how many times they say the name of JESUS. That name has power in it whether they believe it or not. Anyway thats my opinion.. GOD BLESS

Maybe it won't change they're heart. maybe it will. the only thing we can do is give tham our honest answer and bless them in the name of God. Our job on this earth is to lead people to Christ. if i put a 'question' out there that was about how i wanted to kill all christians, and they all answered, "God Bless You" i sure would have some things to think about!
God Bless and keep answering!

You know... that applies to all religions. Instead of just asking Christians, how about asking everyone that question? Because I've had some really nasty things said to me as a Wiccan and all I've had to say is that I'm Wiccan.

So, it goes both ways.
