Am helping a friend plan a Christmas theme for next year. What details would you incorporate if you were doing the planning?

It's a Christmas theme. Not held on Christmas Day.

Winter wonderland! Trees with white lights, wreaths with white lights, white balls, white crochet snowflakes, icicles, any ribbon you have be that deep rich red. Either do all white dresses with red accents, or red dresses (a la White Christmas) with white accents for the attendants. Bride bouquet could be poinsettias. Attendants bouquets could be bunches of holly with berries. Gentlemen's flowers to match accordingly. Love the idea of a holiday feast for the food.

As with any event of this kind, use scent with caution. So many folks are allergic or just sensitive to scent these days.

even although i'm Jewish, i like the assumption of a Christmas wedding ceremony! i think of you're able to do regardless of you prefer and play up the Christmas subject matter any way you prefer to, yet once you're actually not as into the purple and green component, you are able to lean extra in direction of the wintry climate component. With some tricks approximately Christmas thrown in, everybody gets what you're using at. There are plenty and a great form of wedding ceremony books with wintry climate wedding ceremony subject matter recommendations. Snowflakes, blue and white decorations, silver glitter, a horse and carriage to take you to and from the ceremony, serving heat punch (distinctly if it particularly is chilly), and candy canes are purely a number of the recommendations i will think of of suited now. I say pass with it and look into the books for recommendations!

1) Red velvet gowns for the bridesmaids (or green velvet).
2) Lots of rich reds and greens, with snowy white backgrounds.
3) Birch branches with white lights and lightly-sprinkled with snow.
4) SCENTED candles in the church.

I organize parties and events part-time, and these are just a few ideas. Email me for more ideas if you like.
