Getting over someone takes time. How much time? That is up to you. You have to make an effort to not only forget but to remember, accept than move on.
Looking at ur profile, I'm just assuming that you lost someone. All I know about losing someone is that you just can't pretend it didn't happen. Everywhere you look you'll be reminded of that person and it hurts. But you have to remember everything that happened and accept that they are gone. But if you lost a relationship or something (Break-up) It's much the same. Move on. Find new friends, new hobbies, and a support system so that you're not always alone and thinking about that person.
