i definitely preferred older guys to men my age when I was dating. I couldn't stand how needy the younger guys were and I wasn't interested in the same things they were. However, I need to say I grew up fast. I related to older individuals a lot better and not just in dating. I seem to make older friends more easily. Now I am married to a man almost 11 years older than myself and it has worked well for going on 15 years. Dating was fabulous...he was very attentive and giving. Also quite experienced in the areas that mattered. He was more able to balance his time spent with friends and with me more so than I saw with friends who had boyfriends closer to their age.
