Nothing really, it was my father's cooking that was yummy. I truly miss his pork chops & saurkraut (sp?). In a bread pan put a layer of saurkraut, then 2 pork chops, another layer of saurkraut, 2 more pork chops then a final layer of saurkraut. After that you pour about a 1/2 a can of beer into it (don't let it spill over), put it in the oven to cook. Unfortunately I can't remember what the temperature was or for how long but I can tell you it was yummy!

I'm a simple gal - I love buttery sandwiches with cucumber, plenty of cheese and meat. Mom was pretty strict about our diet, but once in a while, she'd keep all this stuff ready, and we'd all fix our sandwiches.

Mom wasn't the main cook in our house. Dad was. Mom made an excellent tuna casserole that I loved. Dad made fancier meals. He loved to cook and made elaborate and delicious meals. One of my favorites he made was baked spaghetti. It was so good. Either that or bulgogi. I make my own but it isn't quite up to what dad used to make.
My dad left us this last year for another woman and her family. I'm pretty much over it but when I think of him cooking one of his elaborate dinners for this woman and her kids it really upsets me. It is kind of funny that I can deal with all of it except for him cooking for them.
