Judging by the verse that says it's harder for a rich person to get into heaven than for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle, yes.

No, God wants us to be humble. He gives some people wealth. It is harder for a rich man to get into heaven than a poor man. Wealth can make people selfish this is God's test to see what one will do with wealth.

God wants us to be rich, but not the way the world thinks. Material things mean nothing. If we can learn to trust in, rely on and adhere to what God wants us to do then we will be rich from the blessings he will send us. We will not be able to contain them. God sent his only Son to die on the cross for the human race so that he could redeem us. If you can learn to BELIEVE the Gospel that Jesus died for our sins, was buried and went to hell, and rose again the 3rd day, then you will be one of the richest human beings on earth. We all have to learn to follow God and do his will and OVERCOME this world or none of this will be available to us. It will be the hardest thing you will ever do in your life. It is and will be an everyday struggle. Learn to read your Bible, and ask God to give you revelation of it daily. You might be surprised.

no...it is said.. love this love, and you do not love God. Know this world, and you will never know God. I think if you become rich and comfortable, and you do not suffer in life, dieing will be that much harder, and maybe at that last moment of breath, you will not be looking forward to whats to come after this life has gone. whereas if you suffer, enough to know that life on here is not all that great, then the thought of an afterlife is more appealing and and that last breath will be taken with an excitement of anticipation, rather than with dread and fear of leaving so much here.

Material wealth is a product of luck, or inheritance, or smart business. It can be used or abused, but it is only money. Money is a creation of mankind, not of God. Any God worthy of the name would want us to be happy REGARDLESS of whether or not we were wealthy, instead of wanting us to be wealthy.

Wow! Nice Aviator, er, I mean avator! The question in the air tonight is 'does God desire us to be in the money'? Of course, but I will say that if you are rich and your heart is turned to Him and Him alone, you will more likely trust Him with how He wills for that money to be used and in what manner such money will benefit His work throughout the earth, and He is seeking those people whose hearts and desires are leaning in the direction of His ways and His righteousness upon the earth, including how best to finance His work on earth, and for His will to be carried out here through the avenue of this green resource.

Yes...and you are. for Guidance..Seek First the Kingdom and all this will be added to you. That is, Live in spiritual fullness offered by Christ Jesus and the things of this life will seem unimportant. Besides, if you had everything where would you keep it?

Obviously he wants us to be rich. This is why there are children sleeping outside in the cold day after day...
