Hitler had racial pride, so I guess it depends on how you use you pride.
you should have pride in who you are, but why does race have to come into it?
race is used to often to separate people, but to have pride in your race, and not put down other races, then that is a race to be proud of.

Racial pride If a white person was proud of being white black people call them racist oppressor. Don't worry it is not me being racist it works the other way as well

I think people should push aside racial issues and everyone be up for national pride because if everyone felt the same as you there would be more racial problems than we have ever known

This is a good question but not an easy one to answer. I guess in short, I'm proud of things that I have control over. What's the point in being proud of something that happened as a result of your genes? By the same token, I don't think you should be ashamed of your race either. But then again, I'm not offended if someone is 'proud' of their race. Pride can have many different meanings...

It's scientifically incorrect to assume one race is superior to another. Whites are supposed to be advanced because by the tryst of destiny, White countries have invested in education, public health and the first Industrial Revolution took place in Britain and the US. The truth is there that the West grew rich out of colonial exploitation of other civilizations. Africa was abused for slavery, diamonds, gold, coffee and other resources. Asian countries like India were used for marketing British products by force. China was made opium-addict. These cultures couldn't fight back because they lacked advanced weaponry like us. Last 60-70 years however has seen a change in the equations. Today, Japan is richer than the US on a per capita basis. China and even India are being held as new superpowers and their strength is growing at the diminishing ones of Europe. Ultimately, unless there is a World War, free market eonomics dictate that countries will have a balance of power based on economic strength.

Any argument of one race being superior to another is defeated in that context. I have seen enough educated African-Americans. They are racially superior by such arguments, to Whites from East European countries that are trying to break free of Communism.

You can be proud of your race and heritage. Just don't use your pride as a means to put down other races. Pride is good, arrogance is not.

I don't see anything wrong with racial pride as long as it does not violate any one else's pride in who they are. May God Bless

I think there is nothing wrong with it. I just wonder why a black or Hispanic person takes pride in their heritage it is a good thing, but when a white man is proud of his fore-bearers it is considered racist.

Nothing unless you take it too far and start thinking you should be treated in special ways because you're a certain race. It's especially stupid since we're all the human race.

nothing, but when some get a little too zealous and starts to screw other races over and think they are the supreme race( not just white people, blacks too, chinese, japs, koreans, etc etc being racist is probably the one of the few things that are common in ALL cultures).
