ali was more a finesse fighter with more emphasis on foot speed..whereas pacman's strength is with his hand speed and punching power

If they were both in their prime and at the same weight class, I'd have to say Ali, who's lightning fast hands would keep Manny at bay. Ali would stick his GREAT jab in Pacquiao's face all fight long, which would prevent Manny fro getting inside, then, much like the he did Cleveland Williams, Ali would land more than a few straight right with enough force on them to at first soften up Pacquiao, then knock him out, It wouldn't be a fair fight to be honest.

as michael jordan said, you can't compare two teams from different eras...so you can't compare manny and ali because for the different era they've been and different divisions as well..

i could say that Pac's fighting style i unique. He doesnt fight like Ali and Ali doesnt fight like him.
