There's this guy in one of my classes at school (college), and he always sits in the very back of class alone. He's really nice and a little bit shy (and very good looking). We've worked together a couple of times and one time when we got to pick our partners he straight away picked me. Last class we had to go around and ask a certain number of people one question each. I asked a couple of people and then saw him still sitting in the back of the room alone. We made eye contact and he motioned for me to come over, so i did. He asked me multiple questions and told me to keep asking him. We did this until someone came to talk with him. (He also worked with another guy to buy my cookies in a class auction). He's at least 4 years older than me.

The hardest part being that I'm also on the shy side (I considered just going back and sitting next to him next class)

It does sound like you might have a chance. Do you know if he has a girlfriend? Sometimes guys may seem interested, but they won't act on it because they're already attached. If you know for a fact that he is not involved with anyone, then you may consider making the first move. Something simple like asking him if he wants to go to lunch. Don't be too aggressive though. If he really is that shy then it may scare him off. I would wait until the next conversation and then casually extend an invatation (don't approach him just to ask him out). Remember, keep it casual. If he thinks you're asking him out on a date, he might feel pressured and be scared off.

Yes, you have a chance. More than that actually. You have a responsibility!!! He REALLY wants to be with you. Make it easy for him to make a move. Be available. Hint that a new movie you want to see is coming out soon. Or maybe a dance or something? Entice him. Be friendly towards him. You are already doing a good job of it. Stay on track. You are ready to go to the next level. Encourage him. Make it clear (in your actions) that if he asks you out, that you'll say 'yes'.

I think he likes you, But it sounds like hes the one making all the moves. Maybe you should show him that your really mature for your age so he might consider you. You could flirt with him more and call him over instead of the other way, But just be sure you're not getting yourself in too deep :) But i could see this relationship working

It seems like he's interested, but if he's a shy guy, you'll have to make the first move.
