Actually the flu virus is incredibly complex. Each virus is identified by two variations known as H & N. Thus one year, we might have H3N7 and two years later H4N7 and so forth. The flu virus itself is found primarily in wild fowl's intestines. It crosses over to domestic fowl. Normally it stops there. Scientists are terrified of one which learns to transmit itself to humans and mutates to spread human to human. Avian flu showing some of these characteristics.
Most flu comes from the wild ducks and geese in Siberia flying down to the vast bird market in Hong Kong - thus Asian flu. There has been some evidence of a similar "basin" of flu in the Netherlands.
WILD AVIAN FLU is a highly readable book on the subject. As far as God snappng his finers - I suspect that would be much harder than creating flu. God having "human" fingers is called an anthropormorphism i.e. taking human characteristics and assigning them to God or other objects.

That's a good question, but you have to keep in mind that God can't do everything himself, and has been moving away from finger snapping. All kinds of **** can happen. Once he made a rock so big, he couldn't move it, and had to call Jesus in to help! As to viruses, and this is speculation, rumors I've heard, but as I understand it, he has a bunch of old Nazi scientists working on the program. He leases space from the CIA out at area 51and the scientists live on site, if you can call that living. Apparently he resurrected them and they're not in all that great a shape. Still, no one walks, and no one talks. It's the perfect deal as they can disperse the viruses over Asia with the secrete spy planes they keep at the base.

The way you put the question shows that you know nothing about God and that the teaching of your religion is weakalso.

Know that God before he created Adam He knew everything he will do. so believed or not, the earth was already made and also this univers before he gave life to Adam.
so when Adam sinned, and Satan pushed him to do so it wasn't new for God.
In Islam we know that God created everything for purpose and everything is under his knowldge, he knows what will disappear, what will be created, like viruses, bacteria, plants, humans,... he creates those things because nothing can appear without his knowledge, because if so there will be another creator, but there is none.
nothing can move only by his commands, no rock, no leaf can drop from a tree that God knows about it. he knows the number of drops of rain, no more no less, the exact number, nothing escape to his knowledge.
believe it or not, everything that will happen in the future or created is already written in a book that is with God . this book was written 50 000 years before the creation of man.

for example:
we know that God only knows when anubody of us will die, he Knows the time, the day, the year and the place.
immagine that 350 000 people died under "Hirochima" bomb, do you think that he didn't know that that day 350 000 souls will be taken by the angel of death?
how about the tsunami? didn't he know that the earth quake will occure and the water will kill thousands of people.?
can the earth move without him being in control. it is him who give life and gives death, nobody else. the earth can't move only if it's written that it will move, it is written that at the end of time there will be more killings, more wars, more earthquakes, diceases,......
do you think that God didn't know how many people will die because of the huricane Katrina? how many drops of rain will be sufficient to cause this deasaster?
think about it. will you die because God new that this virus will kill you, or the virus killed you and God just discoverd about it?

Christ Himself predicted, “There will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes, in various places” (Matt.24:7). “All these are the BEGINNING of sorrows” (verse 8). For the End of Days, shortly before His second coming, He declared, “For then there shall be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be” (Matt.24:21).
The Bible implies that that Day has begun! As Moses said, in his day, when the plague struck, “For wrath has gone out from the LORD. The plague has begun” (Num.16:46). We can ascribe it all to ‘time and chance” – “Mother Nature” – “bad luck” – accidental happenstance – but the truth is more severe and regrettable. Our own ways and rebellion against the laws of God have brought us to this terrible point of history.

God did not ever make a flu virus. What book of the Bible did you get that from? I want to read that. May God Bless

No dear, the humans work very hard making a new flu every year, and new cancers and new AIDS as well, from time to time, with things like organ transplants and atom bombs!

Nope. Actually, everything that now exists was created "in the beginning". When God rested on the seventh day, He was done...finished...capoot, stick a fork in it. He doesn't create anything anymore, just allowing His plans to unfold the way it was meant to. And God has never "snapped" His fingers. He spoke, and it came into existance. Pretty cool, huh?! <*)))><

Obviously you're a cretinist - oops, creationist - who doesn't accept the fact of evolution.

Viruses are living things that adapt and survive, they just do it quicker because they have less genetic material to change. Viruses do not have the mental faculties to be "malicious" and "evil", unlike the religious.

Well they are so complex that a god MUST have created it right?? (Ha) I guess a deity would have to get out it's microscopic tools and work hard to create and assemble each one. If we could look closely enough we'd probably see a label that says "#1732 of 111,536 Collect them all!"

A god, I think not. It's an evolutionary process, mutations and the like. It's been going on long before man invented a god. I thought you already knew this.
