Most runts will catch up with their littermates once they are separated into different homes. I have 4 cats and 3 dogs right now, and one cat was the runt of the litter--you'd never guess now, he's a year and a half and is a good sized fellow. One of my dogs is still just a pup, about 5 months old now, and he was the runt--but he caught up the very first month I had him (from 5 pounds at 9 weeks of age to 15 1/2 pounds at 13 weeks!).
Just feed a high quality puppy food in the appropriate amount according to the label, always provide fresh water, exercise, and proper veterinary care, and your pup should slowly grow larger and stronger till she more or less equals her littermates.
If, after a month or so, you don't see the growth you expect in a pup of her age and breed, or your vet notices a problem, there are some genetic conditions that can cause failure to thrive, such as a portosystemic shunt (more common in small breeds). Your vet can do some tests to determine if there are any problems.
Good luck with your dog!

High protien diet will help. Make her run up hill or swim, that'll add muscle. Plus the runt often gets as big as the rest of the litter in time.

I had a dachshund that was so tiny too. Check with your vet first to make sure you get the best food for your type of dog. Build her or him up by excercise to build up the appetite. The vet may suggest vitamins too.You can also check on the web also.

How old is she? What is her breed? Those are things that I need to know before giving you a good answer.
Keep her on a top notch puppy food. Take her for daily walks and if your area of the country is warm, take her swimming.

A proper diet and good excercise will always increase the strength and health of your pet. They also make ''weighted'' items for animals aswell. As your pet runs around with the weighted clothing it increases their muscular stamina. :)
