The Zionist movement started buying up land in the 1890s.A little dried up desert here and there. After the British kicked the crap out of the Turks,it was always in their mind to resettle the Jews "eventually".Like a Palestinian Homeland"eventually".They had it all mapped out and divided but WWII but a hold on everything .After that ,the ones that were left, the U.N. decided to let them have it.
I know you wanted me to say "The Damn Zionists!" but it weren't quite that way.
