No, I believe in lust at first sight though.

Love is about more than just seeing someone, it's about mind, body and soul. Love that comes merely from sight is not love yet. Sight can spark something that can become love, but the first sight itself is not love.

Yup. B/c although i do believe in a type of heaven and hell i also believe in reincarnation. Love at first sight is simply meeting a past love from another life.

In a word... NO!

Love is not the same thing as lust. Never has been, never will be. To be in love you have to get to know someone very well first. See if you're compatible, share common interests, have similar moral values and character. Share experiences with each other, develop trust and a bond that will outlast "the warmies" you might feel for them. Don't confuse sexual attraction with love. It's a recipe for divorce.

I'm 32 years into my marriage and it was love at first sight. For whatever reason we knew we were right for each other on our first date. We never spoke about it, at least not for about 6 months.

When you meet someone who you find attractive and they are a great personality match to you, love comes naturally.

True honest to goodness SELFLESS love is impossible with someone at first sight, though I sure dream of the day when I get proven wrong about it.
