Both are very bad of course. One chooses their faith, but not their race. So perhaps attacking for race is worse. But it's really hard to say, because people should not be attacked for either one!

It is unacceptable to be attacked for either.
What differentiates the two is that you are born a certain race and have no choice, but you can change your faith.
God teaches us in Acts 10:34-35 "...God does not show favoritism but accepts
men from every nation who fear him and do what is right." (NIV)
The key is doing what is right according to God's Word. Not every faith does according to God's Word. They need to change their faith IF they want to be acceptable to God. However, attacking them is WRONG. Jesus told His disciples to go into the towns and teach. If the people did not want to listen then shake the dust from your sandals and move on to the next town. There was no direction given to attack anyone.

I think both are equally wrong. But if I had to choose just one, it would be racism because people are physically born into a race and can not choose. Whereas in faith, people have a right to choose which faith they believe or don't believe.

What do you mean by attacked? questioned, physically abused, killed, what do you mean attacked.
No one should be attacked on any level because of there race, it is not there choice and no race is better than any other.
As far as faith, it is okay to Q another person's faith, but not to attack them physically or even belittle them.
I enjoy having my faith questioned, because it always makes my faith stronger when I have the answer.

They are both equally unacceptable.
Keep in mind that the person who speaks ill of another is defining them-self by projecting their own insecurities onto another.
Anyone who can attack a faith or a race....is feeling attacked.

I think it is wrong that anyone should attack you for your religion or your faith. It sounds to me like you are muslim. But that is besides the point. If you are a peaceful muslim who openly renounces violence then no one should be abusing you. But you must understand how other people feel. Just go to
http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/index.html#Attacks.
It shows about 9,000 people who were killed by muslims in the last 4 MONTHS and about 25-30 thousand who have been injured. That's just in the last 4 months. It gives where they were killed or injured and on what date and the circumstances. That's just in the last 4 months. Yet we don't hear a whisper of complaint out of any of the so-called moderate muslims. Every mosque in the world should be preaching against these barbarians who are killing people. Yet many of the mosques around the world are actually promoting violence. So you can see why few people have sympathy for the average muslim. They need to stand up and be heard if they are really against violence. Every time an Iman gets up in a mosque and starts preaching violence he ought to be thrown out and replaced by someone who is non-violent. If nothing else you could just stop going to that mosque. You say "they'll kill us if we speak out". They can't kill you if there is enough of you. If just 80% of the muslims are non-violent, that's about 1.2 BILLION muslims. They can't kill 1.2 billion muslims. Now if there's not very many non-violent muslims then the idea of the so-called moderate muslim is a myth. You must speak out.

It's worse to attack someone because of their race. Attacking anyone for any reason is wrong, but often times it seems that someone 'attacks' someone of a different religion because they disagree and try to get their point across. Someone's religion has to do with their beliefs, whereas race has nothing to do with what kind of person you are.

I agree with Amy. I cannot say one is worse than the other. The only way that one is less worse than the other would be the level of attack.
By the way, I don't believe that all Muslims or all people from the Middle East are terrorists any more than I believe that all Fundamentalists bomb abortion clinics.

People attack out of fear. These two issues seem to go hand in hand.
I am sorry this happens to you. It happens to all of us occasionally...even blonds like me. People judge each other and in their own insecurities, rip into others whom they cannot understand.
I assure you it is not all members of any race or faith...only the frightened ones.
