Well, I've got two issues in this incredibly awkward question:
First, I'm beginning to wonder if urinals are more a nuisance than a help. It's convienent to pee standing up, but the splashback is gross, people think you are playing with yourself if you stand in front too long, and people sometimes look over to see the size of you know what. What do you think? Would it be better to just go in a stall?
Secondly, I'm beginning to not like the fly on my jeans (I only really wear jeans). Flies kind of hurt to pee out of (the metal teeth are not fun) of and this is only worsened if you zip up prematurely. I guess I could try button fly, but they take 20 seconds to close after you pee. I'm assuming flies on guys' jeans meant to pee out of (am I right?). Should I switch to pants that don't have flies at all, even though you have to take them down more when you pee?
Girls and guys can answer, I don't care, and thanks for putting up with this question.

Funny you mention the zipper cause as a woman I have thought about if that irritates a man when urinating, guess now I know to some men it does. It is obvious that some men will look down to see others size, lol. If it is something that you are noticing other men do, and assuming you are hetero, go into the stall bc obviously it is making you uncomfortable (or u wouldn't have posted). I didn't know the urinals had backsplash, that is disgusting.

First off, I think that a gay man invented the urinal; so everyone could see each other's equipment.
I don't care for how men pee all over the toilet but I think that there should be stalls.
How come we women have stalls, its not like we we check each other out in the bathroom - but I am glad we do.
The fly issue - you already solved your dilemma when you said that you always wear jeans. Either get button-fly jeans and learn to hold it in while you get undone or done, or buy some sweat pants

Urinals are OK. If you find it uncomfy taking a wiz on a urinal, just take the cubicle and use the bowl.
Whichever you choose, just be neat by not messing your piss all over.
If you hate people (homos) glancing over your pet, then use the cubicle.
On jeans, any fly is OK. You just need to be a little careful how you pull the zipper up. Don't haste too much, you dont wanna hurt your pet bad.
Sometimes button flys are more inconvenient. Takes some time doing it back than zipping up.

Urinals are great...You have to aim the stream right so you don't get any backsplash...Who cares what people think...If they think you are playing with yourself who cares...The only person that should care how long your you know what is your girlfriend...I find guys who choose a stall over a urinal when there is no line are insecure with themselves...

I'd recommend you unbotton or unsnap the part of the pants above the zipper next time. It will make things a whole lot easier.
