My daughter is 19 months old and extremely EXTREMELY talented. She's energetic and has no problem being in front of a camera. I want to get her into some kind of acting but I live in Michigan. Does anyone know how I can get her started here in Michigan? I'm unable to travel because I have an 8 week old also and my husband works. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Well, it seems you are very excited about getting her to try different things... and that's good. However, it may be harder to get into acting so I would suggest to start her off with a modeling agency that specializes in both modeling and acting, so if you and her agent agree that she has greater potential, it will be easy to get her some exposure. It may sound like alot of work, but keep in mind that an agent will get your daughter more exposure and find shoots and projects that are suitable for her and what your family is able to handle. Also, there's alot of scammers out there so be sure to check with reputable agancies and ask them if your physical location is an issue. Most agencies are willing to work with you even if you live in Michigan. Another thing to keep in mind is that if the first thing they ask you for is MONEy, then it's SO a scam. REAL agencies keep photos of your child along with a profile of sorts so interested parties go through them so you don;t get pressured into doing something you really don't want to. After that you probably sign a contract and get paid once the shoot or project is successful. Be careful and do some research. Another good thing to do is research the life style. Ask agencies about referals to clients or find a support group for mothers whose kids are in the biz about their experiences... Good Luck!!!

First of all does she WANT to get into acting. If you don't know then I suggest you not get her into it...sounds to me as if you would be doing it for the attention rather than for HER good and well being. When and if SHE expresses an interest in anything that could lead to a career that is the time to get her into it whether it is acting or becoming a doctor.

well see if you set up sighn for your child at home everyone and maybe some star might be by your place and then come see your child and give her a deal or some its worth to try
