he has what looks like a rash, he is loosing a bit of fur, he doesn't like to be touched, is always very frightened of everything.. and his skin seems to be turning a blackish color. he is such a nice kitty.. I don't want him to get really ill.. any ideas on what he might have?

There's something VERY wrong with this - he may have some kind of wound that's gotten infected. Take him to the vet as soon as possible!

The Cat has some wound underneath the skin. He feels pain when touch. If you don't take him to the vet, try to put betadine on the skin if not improve take him to the vet.

Take the cat to the vet.The cat probity has allergies got to go to the doctor and don't forget to have him neutered.
