Lower the rents!
Mandatory rent control and rent rollback - nobody should have to pay more than $ 400 a month for a studio apartment, or $ 800 for a two bedroom!

City tax is BS. NYC makes enough taxes off the tourism industry and the gov't for its high poverty rate that I shouldn't have to pay city taxes. Especially when the largest excuse for having to pay city taxes is city maintenance when the majority of the city is run by public transportation and private industry.

The poverty of lots of NYC neighborhoods. Or, getting the guns/gangs off the street/lower the crime rate even more.

The filth/trash on the streets at the end of the day. Unavoidable, but still gross.

The nickle & diming that goes on during the rental process. An attempt to charge me a fee to process all the other fees was recently attempted. (It was not assessed)
