People have doubts. No one can argue about that. Just keep in mind that God was, is, and will ALWAYS be there. There are times when you have this feeling that God is a million miles away. l know. It happens to all believers, even to pastors, church leaders, etc. Just give your life unto the Lord. Surrender your all to Him. Turn to the Bible for advice and let God speak through His Word. Don't be afraid to turn to people. You need them to grow. The best advice that I can give- know that God is there. Assurance is in His Word. He is in control and He promised to never leave or forsake you. No matter what you do, He will never leave you. Suicidal tendencies are temptations you need to overcome. Don't let Satan win you over. Trust God. Commit your life to Him. He loves you very much. Another thing is that, you cannot avoid death. Who knows when you are going to die? Surrender your life to God before it's too late..ü I am happy that you did not commit suicide.
God bless.

We are living today, at a time, when, there are people who may never have to experience death at all! Reason being because the time has come when it is thesoon the Great day of Jehovah and all will know that Jehovah is the most High God in the universe and he will protect his people from all the calamities and preserve them alive into his new cleansed Earth and any of those who are preserved are preserved with the chance of everlasting life here on this planet because that is why the earth was created for to be inhabited by humans, the heavens were created as a place for God and the angels to live
When God's Kingdom comes, what will happen to this hate-filled world? "The kingdom," will "crush and put an end" to all the corrupt governments of this world. (Daniel 2:44) The Bible explains: "The world is passing away . . . , but he that does the will of God remains forever."-1 John 2:17. yes you can avoid death with the right knowledge!

How can you not trust God with your life? Since it seems apparent that you are self destructive and God is not, how can you not? Did you give yourself life? Then neither do you have authority or the right to take away your life. Jesus Christ gives you a reason to be alive. He gives hope and love and comfort and fellowship, He is the biggest big brother you could ever have. There is nothing and no one that is worth taking your own life. These thoughts are either caused by a chemical imbalance which has lead to depression or they are of Satan. Satan is a murderer and was a murderer from the beginning. I would recommend a medical checkup to see if this depression has a physical foundation. I would also strongly recommend that you get to a Bible teaching Christian church and that you get a Bible of your own and start reading. Begin with the Psalms then go to the Gospel of John, then go from there. The order isn't important, you just need the power of God's healing Word in your mind and soul. Don't let the enemy, Satan, get the upper hand and the victory. For our victory is in Christ Jesus, who loves us and gave Himself for us. God has a plan for your life, but you must seek His face in order to discover what that plan is.

The desire to suicide is a symptom of Pride. You think you don't deserve the bad things that happen to you, so you want to just check out early. But it isn't your life. God purchased you at great price. You belong to Him and have no right to destroy His property.
I'm not sure how you can wish to avoid death and yet also 'worry about' it. Do you fear death or don't you?
Death really is a non-issue, though. It's a transformation. Nothing more. There is no need to rush it OR delay it.God will come for me when he comes for me. No sooner, and no later. Just relax and enjoy the life you are given. Use it to best advantage. You can only be sure of one time through.

How can you NOT trust him David? I am sad to hear you are still struggling with this. Satan is placing these suicidal thoughts in your mind. It's a struggle you have to overcome. You HAVE TO! What are your other options? If you take your own life you are right - you will be standing in front of God answering to Him why you felt you had the right to make that decision. Only God should have the power to choose that. Don't put yourself above God. If you do, not only will you not have a chance to fix your problems tomorrow but you will find yourself in a literal burning hell for eternity. Compare that to the problems you are facing right now. How bad does your life seem when you think about the alternative.
You have a choice. You can choose God and life and live out the rest of the days God gives you and EVENTUALLY join Him in Heaven when HE says it's time OR you can take your own life and not have a chance to make anything at all out of your life and spend your eternity burning and weeping and dying - FOREVER.
Suicide makes all problems worse because it takes away your chance to fix them and it seals your fate for all eternity.
Sending a prayer for you David!

You have to believe in yourself first before you attempt to trust anything or anyone. If you have feelings which are depressing, you must ask for professional help. Trust in God is good for those who believe in God. If you believe in God then you have to put your trust in God. However, you can speak to peers, parents, people in authority or your family doctor.
Think of all the things you can do by staying well which you cannot by not living. Think about all the people you can help. Think about all the changes you can make, all the good you can do and above all, so many you can make happy.

First off, you need to go see your doctor and get on a anti- depressant to clear up these thoughts.I can't give you a magic answer that will say poof you trust GOD again.I can say, GOD provides. The birds have food everyday don't they?It would help if you put down what faith you are so someone can help.Do you drink, do drugs, splitting up with spouse. You have to name the source of your problem and start there. I wish you the best of luck and GOD bless.

Good question.
I would say that to trust God with your life you have to realize that this is not YOUR life. I guess I can quote the Bible on this one. I guess if you are sick of living your life, let your life be Gods life.
Romans Chapter 12:1-6
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:
So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;
However, it may be easier said then done, but it can be a good start and something to remember when you just can't do it.
Remember everyone has a purpose, and your inner light can be a good guide to that purpose.
Mathew 11:30
For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. you just have to give up your ego and let God take over. Sounds strange I know.
Paul in Romans Chapter 7 can also be of some comfort to what you are going through.

I'm not sure how to word what i'm trying to say as I have re written this several times, but the gist of what i'm saying is we need to abase ourselves, understand we are nothing but in Jesus Christ. One of our society's problems is that we have too high a self asteem and think things should be going a certain way for us, but the bible instructs us to be meek and lowly. Meek and Lowly. think on those two words until you understand their meaning and implication.
I pray I was at least of some help

I have found that the more I come to know God and His character, the more I trust Him. I do this by studying the bible, prayer, fellowshipping with other believers, going to church. When you come to know who God is, you will be able to entrust Him with everything about your life. I pray in Jesus' name that you grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior.
