"Ocular myokymia." Usually caused by a calcium or potassium imbalance, and temporary. Sometimes cold compresses will help, but you should notice that the twitching spells decrease in frequency within the next couple of months.

This is entirely normal and is a result of tiredness. There is a small nerve running through a gap in the bone above the eye socket (feel carefully along the bone and you'll find a gap towards your nose): when tired this causes the muscle to spasm. It is nothing to worry about. But maybe you (and I!) should get some more sleep?

I'm not a very superstitious person but in my culture if your eye twitches, it means something good is going to happen to you.
One time I was forced in the last minute to play soccer for the school girls team-and i don't even know how to kick a ball. But all over a sudden, my right eye starts twitching like crazy.
The next thing I know, someone kicks the ball straight towards me, it bounces off my leg, and ... I score the winning goal! Thanks to my twitching eye...hee hee.
Anyway, as long as there is no scientific reason for eye spasms that I know of, I'm going to stick to the good luck thing.

Sometimes, I get those when I am under a great deal of stress. Or when in a very anxious state. Perhaps you are too. It sounds like that could be the case if it has only been a few weeks. If it continues, you may want to see a doctor.

Don't worry - it will pass. You will suddenly realise that it's stopped happening. It's related to tiredness of the tiny muscles around the eye - perhaps eye-strain or actual tiredness. May be a slight zinc deficiency too so perhaps a multivit containing zinc would be usefull if you've been neglecting your diet lately.

it could be fatigue. try to get some more sleep.
also, believe it or not, it may be due to overly long eyelashes, or an excessive number. try tweezing out the eyelashes at the outer corner of each eyelid. that often can help, sometimes immediately.

Get some sleep! It usually only lasts a day or so, there may be something else wrong, but try eating a banana and taking a nap! You should be good as new! (banana for potasium of course)

Go see your doctor. I didn't know I suffered from Epilepsy until after a major fit, I had similar symptoms before but ignored them, better safe then sorry I say. If it turns out to be nothing then you can relax but you wont know unless you ask... I hope it's nothing serious.

I've had this for ages-an eye 'specialist' said it was nothing and not to worry-but I've since discovered its linked to lyme disease/borreliosis.If you feel tired a lot check out a lyme disease site listing symptoms. Then find a doctor who understands lyme-not too many about though.

It can be nutrition-related problem. I had that when I was 37 with numbness & pain in half body. A supplement marketed by an MLM company helped me. You can write me at jade_flowershop@yahoo.com about it.
