ladies; is eye contact important?

if you ask someone out and have eye contact is that better? ( note that if not looking at her eyes i am not looking at her breasts either)
Do you inturpret eye contact as something only guys who like you do, or do expect that from everybody?

in my personal opinion, eye contact is very important. lookin into a girl's eyes wen u ask her out is so much better. i think it shows that u r truely interested. ur eyes just hav a way of expressin urself that is simply undescribable. usually if u really like the girl, u get this certain lil look in ur eye n u wont even mean 2. i think its very attractive. i luv wen my bf talks 2 me n looks me straight into my eyes. its sexy n sweet. yes, if u r plannin on askin that certain special girl out, look into her eyes n just think about how much u like her wen u ask her. give it a try. even if u r shy, it makes it even better b/c u will prob giv this secere smile along with eye contact!! u shud definately try it!!

i dont really think eye contact is required. however, u shud definately look into her eyes wen u ask her out if u really like her. dont think bout it 2 much n dont try so hard. just let ur eyes do the talkin--- on their own. dont force it.

Sure it is. A moment of eye contact can mean a lot. I had a pretty intense eye contact moment with the guy I sort of like about three weeks ago. We were talking about the event we'd put on at lunch (student council thing), we looked away for a beat, we looked back up and our eyes met, then we looked away again. That's the best way I can describe it. You'd just have to be me to understand what I'm saying.

Eye contact is extremely important. When anyone, man or woman, is talking to me without looking me in the eyes, it seems as though they are 1. extremely shy, or 2. trying to hide something. Neither is good. Looking somewhere else while talking to a person makes it seem as though you are more interested in whatever it is you are looking at, rathern than in the person to whom you are talking. It's a bit rude too.

to me...eye contact is a sign of confidence and i think most woman would rather go out with a confident guy, but i guess some might find shy guys pretty cute =] i think eye contact is meant to be shared between everyone as long as you dont get into one of those akward eye locks that seem to last forever. you can say alot with your eyes.

I would have to say I expect that from everyone. I feel it shows the other person respect. Ladies love to have guys look in their eyes. It shows that you are interested in them, your listening to them, and you are hearing what they might be saying to you.
