I would not mind helping any child in need. I am thinking of this as I hold my son, who is sick today. May God restore his health soon :(. and I am thinking of the children around the world who are going through cold, hunger and sickness. I am thankful that I can take my son to a doctor, but most people in the world do not have this luxury. Which makes me really sad and brings me to my question:

Would you be kind to a child in need, regardless of religion or faith?

Yes, I would, but I would select someone in my own country first

I most certainly would. The most innocent and purest thing in the world is a child. I often say that if a child likes you, he/she likes you for who you genuinely are. They do not think of how much money you have or what you can do for them or the color of your skin. They are just who they are and nothing more. It is only when we adults with our biased attitudes and racists beliefs influence them that they change. I am sorry to hear that your child is sick. Mine are 20 and 13 now but I remember those days. My oldest, at the age of 7 or 8 months, had an allergic reaction to a immunization shot. He had seizures and the whole nine yards. It was only after about a week of testing did we find out that it was the immunization shot. That was one of the worst weeks of my life. Then when my daughter had her first shots, lo and behold, the same thing happened to her. The doctors said it is highly unlikely that two kids in the same family would have that happen but mine did. Thank God that because it had happened to him that when it happened to her we knew what is could be. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Because when there is a baby in the house sick, everything is off kilter. May God Bless

I hope your son gets well very soon Muslimah. Each of my children have had some illness at different times during the past 3 weeks. I have prayed over them and they are all doing well now.

Yes, absolutely I would help any child in need whether they were sick or not, and whether they were from any religion or no religion.

Yes, absolutely. I don't care what the child's religion is, or what kind of political regime he lives in, or anything. Even if the religion of the child was something really terrible, like a cult or something, it's not the child's fault, because he or she has not reached an age to be able to sort the issues out for him/herself yet.

Probably the saddest commentary of these modern times is the treatment of children. We have it in our power to do a thousand times better, but we don't. Every child on the planet should have free medical care and education. Every child, not just American. I bet the world could do it easy just by giving up half of the money spent on weapons. And don't think religion helps. It just stirs the pot and builds hatred in its self serving quest for the control of minds.

Absolutely yes! If a person doesn't help a child just because that child's parents believe a certain religion or their skin is a different color, than that person is a disgrace to the human race and should be boiled to death slowly by being lowered slowly into boiling hot oil.

Every child is God's child. Therefore we need to reach out, for when we reach out to them we are reaching out to God Himself. Jesus said that many fed Him and clothed Him, but no one remembered doing so. Jesus said, as you did it to the least of these my brethren, you did it unto me.

Jesus also said as he held a child in his arms, those that would hurt one of these little ones, it would be better if a millstone was put on his neck and cast into the sea.

If you love God, you love children. If you can't give food, then give what you can, even a prayer is good.

May your son be in good health soon!

Yes, of course I would. As a Christian I am called to be Christ-like. Jesus never turned anyone away and many times went to those of different religions and ethnic backgrounds to help them. He set the example for us and since I want to be like Him I will also offer my help, love and support to those of other religions, cultures or ethnicities.

God bless you and your son! I pray with you that his health is restored soon!

I have traveled all over the world for work, and the children of all races, religions and color need help. Even if it is just to give them happiness for one day. They deserve it. I help where ever I go, and I only wish that I could go everywhere, and help as many as possible.
