The guy I like has a girlfriend. I know it's not good to tell him that I am interested when he has a girlfriend. So I told him that I like a guy who has a gf and I asked him for his opinion on it. Then he was sooooo curious about the details. I told him some details, but not enough to prove that he is the guy. But I am pretty sure he knows it's him. He asked me what I am going to do. I said I am not planning on doing anything because if I have a bf, I don't want some girls to tell him that they are interested. He said yea, that's not good. Then he asked me "how do you know this guy doesn't have the same feeling for you?" I said I am pretty sure that he doesn't. Then he said that's too bad.

What does it mean by saying "how do you know this guy doesn't have the same feeling for you?" I feel like he wants to say he has the same feeling for me? or i am reading into it too much??

you're definitely reading too much into it. He's simply asking because you told him. He's just wondering if you know whether the guy has feelings for you. And IF he did and he has a GF, it will happen to you if you become his girlfriend - someone will like him while he is yours. Would you like someone doing that to your bf?

Stay away from other people's property because you don't want it happening to you. Karma is the worst.

Like you said you don't want anyone to do that to you so good for you for not doing anything about it. So don't ask him anymore questions about it. I think your reading too much into his question.
