what i mean is, lets say you want 8 hours of sleep and go to bed at 10, having to wake up at 6, and you wake up at like 3 to use the bathroom or something, does that mean you are no longer getting the 8 hours because you interrupt it? does that mess up ur sleep cycle?

If you wake up just once breifly, it does not interupt your sleep cycle.

If you are awake you are not sleeping. Deduct the awake time from the hours you set aside for sleep. Your sleep cycle is based on the regular period of time in each 24 hours where you sleep. Getting up to pee does not mess up the sleep cycle.
