What do you think about the minutemen groups?

Tell me; if a Hezbollah sleeper cell came to America through it's southern boarder, and was able to carry out a major terror attack that killed thousands of people; do you think that would be a prime example of the benefits of the natural progression of American society, that was once held back by ignorant people, and thank God we don't live in the past and do something as old and played out as protect our boarders!

There are eleven million undocumented aliens in this country, not eleven, eleven million! Are they all people just trying to work, or are some of them, like the Department of Homeland Security and National Security Agency released in a recent report to the Senate Intelligence Committee, here to plot and plan terror attacks. Are all of them Mexican? Or are some of them, like the DHS and NSA report claims, young Arab men. We already have sleeper cells in this country that have come here through our southern boarder because it's harder for them to get a visa and overstay it.

The government has been delinquent in its fundamental role of protecting our boarders; no other nation in the world has eleven million undocumented aliens, NONE! The minutemen are simply protesting that.

If one of you family members were killed in a terrorist attack and you found out that the people who carried it out snuck across the boarder, how would you feel about the minutemen then?

Your lack of logic, intellect, and suspension of reason is cause for serious concern. How you can chalk up one of the most critically important issues in this country right now to “ignorant retired farts still living in the past” is disgusting. Not to mention that illegal aliens take money out of the circulation of the U.S. economy and put it in their country’s economy. Why don’t you think about things a little longer than two and a half seconds; then piece together an intelligent question about something that is actually meaningful.

But since I have a severe hate of MeCha and La Raza... I guess its only fair that I let you go on with your severe hate of the Minutemen. Anyways we're just venting it out here in this half-dead over-abused forum, and we are not solving anything along the way.

Just goes to show you that hate from anyone (whether a La Raza person, a Minuteman, you or me) never has any true practical purpose.

I think they're great, but I do wish they weren't so "timid". I feel that in the near future, with the continued influx of illegals, new groups will spring up that will make th Minutemen look like Girl Scouts. Then, all the illegals will be longing for the days when people used to peer at them through binoculars, and not rifle scopes...

I am glad that some people still have the American spirit. The Republicans have failed in six years to do anything to secure our borders; it took a bunch of amateurs to embarrass them into doing the job they were elected to do. Hopefully the Dems will get on with building a fence and deporting every last illegal, and then we'll have some security and won't need the minutemen.

How heroic does one have to be to ignore their own homes and families to stand at a line in the sand heavily armed to bully men, women and children who risked their very lives to make it that far with nothing more than a dream of a better life? Just the same as the immigrant ancestors of the minutemen did! These people (yes, they are people) are usually starving and on the verge of collapse when they get here and they are met with vigilantes who think they are God. I think the minutemen need to get a life and mind their own business. They don't own this country. None of us do. We are all here only by the grace of God.
