One question back: The best dog would be the owners love, liability, trust and responsibilities, if there was a best dog in the world this is what my friend said (why would we need all these great dogs for) something like that is something to listen to know, your question is quite interesting but my answer is what i said before its how you raise it and give it love, attention, trust and be more responsible something like that would give you a good thing look for from a dog or a canine i would say, (good luck)

The best dog is the one that belongs to each individual. If you ask 100 dog owners 99% would tell you "my dog is the best".
If you are looking for a dog do plenty of research and chose one that will fit into your life style.

If your looking for a dog you should try to find one that fits your personality. If your a laid back quiet person then you wouldn't want a hyper active dog or if your a very busy person you wouldn't want a puppy that is time consuming and requires allot of extra work for care of their coat and such.. So the answer is take your time and do your research and find one that fits your personality and lifestyle so you can have a companion for life and not be disappointed with your choice. IT IS A VERY SERIOUS decision to make and only you can make it because what might be right of someone else might not be right for you.

the German Sheppard, IF you want 'regal, noble, intelligent [most intelligent in top 5 of all dogs] also very loyal and dependable'. They are great watch [guard] dogs and faithful companions, They do like to be around at least one member of the family during the day, and enjoy having something to do. They prefer attention to having treats.
If you want a silly lap dog, one with no self -esteem, who'll allow all children to pull it's tail and disrespect him, this breed is not for you.

Depends on your personality, but I like the Bichon Frise for smaller dogs, and Siberian Huskys or German Shepherds for big dogs
