You would probably need to run a line our of your PC and into an amplifier then to the speakers.

I don't think the laptop has enough power to drive them. I think you need to run the laptop speaker leads into external amplifiers and drive the floor speakers from them instead.

Probably not directly, but through an amplifier. Computer -> Amp -> Speakers.

of course you can, get a sound card of high quality , splice the wiring of the speakers, add a male output to the end of the plug, plug it into the soundcard and enjoy
