James 1.27 tells us:
"Pure and genuine religion that is acceptable to God our Father is this: to visit the orphans and widows in their need and suffering, and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world."

I am not sure what a ture relgion is. However that stated I believe that God speaks to different people in different tongues. To say that there is one correct relgion would anger any God, as our largest concern as charged by God is to love one another. That said, it would make sense that the same God would send an Arab to preach his rules to Arabs, God would send an Asian to preach his rules to Asians, and a Jew to preach his rules to the Jews. To fight over who has the best translation of Gods rules is anti-God, anti-Allah, anti-Yahweh, period.

Religion is blind faith, so - with that in mind there could be thousands. It depends on who/where/what you are. If there was only one faith the world would be united and we would not longer have the need for war.

There is no such thing as a true religion. People follow a religion because it is what they believe in their hearts, and not because someone else tells them what to believe.
