all spirit guides religious or other require patients they take their time so we don't get ahead of our self's spirituality does not happen over night there is always some silent times and sometimes we all ask to much or the wrong things give it time

If you are talking about the Holy spirit, then i would say that maybe its because you are not staying enough in the word of God
