The reason I ask....is because someone told me she had those symptoms and needed a biopsy.....she had the biopsy, then she wouldn't talk about the results for months. Now she says she has tumours in her body and has to get experimental drug treatment and if it doesn't work there is no other treatment. But that's all she will say. I don't know what to think about the situation. I'd like some opinions please.

I'm not stupid...I know it sounds like cancer, but why not just say so. She won't talk about it.

(and it's not me).

Thank You though!

Sounds like cancer. A lump under the armpit could be a tumor in the glands. This could have spread to the breasts or other areas of the body.

Sounds like an aggressive form of cancer that is spreading. I lost my SIL from that last year. It can spread quickly and if she is trying experimental drug treatment then she is holding out some hope. I think there are stages of grieving in terminal illness and she may be going through the denial stage which is why she won't talk. Then there's anger and then acceptance.

It does sound like Cancer but it could just be swollen lymphnoids or fluid buildup. If she doesn't want to talk about it, don't push because if it is cancer that is alot for her to deal with and she may not want to share right now. Just be supportive of her.
