Are they cheaper cars and will the insurance rate be lower by driving a white vehicle?

Eg: Red cars get stolen, the insurance rate is higher, and the car is expensive

this is true believe it or not,and the insurance rate is cheaper on a white car,one reason is there plain, and thief's don't steal plain cars anymore,, they go for flashy cars, but white cars are less likely to get hit,for some reason, and they just seem to be lees likely to get in an accident,,this has been proven by the insurance institute of America ,and they actually came up with the numbers on how many cars were stolen or wrecked,,i own a repair shop, and i bought a white service truck, and it hasn't been scratched one time,my old one got hit three times in one year,so it proved to me it works,,good luck,i hope this help,s and have a happy thanksgiving.

I guess this is happening somewhere else because LA still has the good old fashioned black and white crown vics. I've seen Dodge Chargers as police cars too but even though it is such a new car, they were still black and white. I am really curious to see what the new colors look like! And you know....if they are changing the color I'm sure it has a good reason behind it. They protect and serve no matter what color the cars are, I'm sure it's just a matter of getting used to the new cars.

There's a slight price difference in white colored cars and I'm not sure of a decreased insurance rate (as they do ask for the color of the vehicle.) Ultimately, if you like white and it makes you happy, go for it. However, it does get dirty fast. As for me, I will buy nothing other then a blue car!

red is more expensive as it takes more coats of red paint to cover the vehicle. red is also more expensive for insurance due to the fact more accidents involve red cars. why? cause most people actually do a blind stare when they see a red car, in turn causing an accident. I myself owned a red chevy blazer and its true....every second I drove I had to watch for others 4 times more than any other color I had driven prior. I no longer own the red due to the higher stress of driving it.

most other colors are all equal in price and insurance rates. yellow can cost more as its not a normal color.

white is actually a great color to own.....for one its the best seen color at night. next its the best seen color actually in a down pour rain storm...why are most state cruisers white? same reason. the look cleaner longer as the white hides dust. rock chips and scratches won't show up as much either as most that look at white get sun blinded and the eyes will blend what it sees, in turn making it a flawless finish. My father knows these tricks and has only owned white vehicles. I myself have owned one and it was great.

no color in particular is a stolen color....but the car itself is what makes it a target.

I own a white car and previously owned a red car. I don't think color really matters when it comes to insurance it is mainly based on the make and model, for instance sports car (my red one) cost more than my white one which is not a sports car. And yes, dirt shows up much easier on white cars but that doesn't matter to me.

We have always had a white car. Resale value is higher and I think they actually look cleaner than dark cars when they are dirty.

I did, but I never will again. Yes, they're cheaper, but you make up the difference in car washes and waxing, and touch up paint...

Yeah I wouldnt get a while vehicle. Everything shows up on it. I think red vehicles are supposed to have the highest insurance. I would just do with something like silver or something.
