My mom died 6 months ago I had stop eatin and lost my appetite for a while I used to way 145 now I weigh 130 somethin

oh my my. you poor dear. I think you shouldnt take any medicines. Just go out and eat at some place with your friends or alone at times. Go and eat at favourite places. Ask the cook for your fav. dishes. You will slowly regain your appetite that is for sure because God wanted you to live, see?

I'm so sorry for your loss! The only way I can think of to gain weight is to eat. If you don't have any appetite, maybe start drinking a high-calorie soda, like mountain dew or something.

15 pounds isn't a drastic weight change for 6 months. Just continue up with whatever your normal diet was before all of this and you will gain the weight you need back.

Proteins are required for building muscles, so having high protein foods like eggs, milk, peanut butter, protein shakes will help. Starchy foods contain a lot of carbohydrates. Also increase your water intake. I found very good information to gain weight at http://www.toloseweight.org/gainweight.html

That is from stress and the death of your mother is a very hard one to deal with You will start to put the weight on when you are feeling better about your life. Sorry to hear about your Mother.

The same way you count calories to lose weight, you add more to gain weight.

eat a lot of foods with fat but i dont know your hieght or age so im not sure if your wieght now is normal.
