be sure to brush your tongue, or use a tongue scraper... bad breath often comes from bacterial growth on the tongue, not your teeth. Just watch out for the gag reflex

The alcohol in mouthwash will dry out your mouth, which will only make your breath worse... It's probably coming from the back of your tounge and brushing it won't fix it. You need a tounge scraper- I got one a few years ago and don't see how I ever got by without one.

Bad breath comes from the white stuff on the tongue.

If you have a sinus infection, you have your answer, that causes smelly breath. When it clears, your breath should be better.

A CONDITION WITH YOUR SINUSES CAN AFFECT YOUR HALITOSIS (BAD BREATH). WHAT IS HAPPENING IS THAT THE SINUSES ARE DRAINING INTO THE THROAT/MOUTH AREA INFECTED FLUID. WHEN THE SINUSES CLEAR THE BAD BREATH WILL GREATLY DIMINISH.
