im really shy sometime... like if im with some friends im calm and funny and all that stuff... but throw me in a crowd with some people i dont know and some girls, you can't get a word out of me.i just need to know how to loosen up and mingle with people i suppose. and not be shy!!!

have some universal questions on hand at all times if you ask questions and listen carefully to the answers you will be in with the best of them. One is a get help question ask if any one knows where you can purchase a great coat, jacket boots mp3 player video ice cream etc

well you can't not be shy, i know how you feel cause I'm the same why but how i stop from being shy is to go out an be around them so that you will get a little more comfortable around others it helped me. it was slow, but after a while i was a little less shy!

Wish I knew. The trick I personally use is trying to distract myself with something else - although my nerves still show as a slightly manic "talkative" streak...

being shy makes a guy look kinda cute, in my opinion. just try to smile a lot and if somebody says hi, say something charming or funny back. good luck!

I have the same problem. Just stay cool and be yourself and dont think alot. If you want, practice talking to yourself in the mirror. Makes you less scared when talking to others.

every once in a while... do something out of the ordinary... that way... everyone will get to know you and you can loose up some... but shyness is not a bad thing!

See what they like then talk about it. Do something while talking. Like all go to the movies or something. That way you all have something in common to talk about.
