I will admit that I had a problem taking diet pills, to stay skinny, (modeled) and now I'm scared that it's done some damage to my kidney or liver. Could that be a reason why when I drink alcohol sometimes, my side & back start hurting? Please help!

If it's your left side it could be a stomach ulcer. Alcohol is well-known to aggravate an ulcer. Do you get this pain when you eat really acidic foods (like orange juice or tomato sauce) or spicy foods? And if it hurts, does taking an antacid or drinking milk help to ease the pain?

well could be the liver or the kidney
i will lean more toward the kidney (liver pain will be a really very dangerous thing) i will assume that there may be some kidney stone that will distend the kidney so ever time the kidney faces a lot of fluid coming through it ( after drinking alcohol), the kidney will distend even more casing pain(under rib cage & the back).
Rapid weight loss may predispose to kidney stone.
But hey, you may just visit a doctor & he/she will investigate this pain throughly.
