I'm a GUY by the way!
Let's say a guy likes a women, and she likes him, so they both like each other and they both know this.
But the instant the guy let's the girl know this verbally she backs off and does the playing hard to get bit, and this can go on for some time, it's annoying.
But when the guy stops chasing, she will start chasing back, and when he starts to chase again she runs again, eventually she stops and lets the guy CATCH her, but why it's pointless and annoying.
What I don't understand is when the GUY stops chasing for GOOD the girl feels really bad & horrible and won't leave the guy alone and all of sudden LET'S her feelings known, you had your chance so why can't the girl leave the guy alone now????
When the guy showed his feelings you played had to get, now he stopped chasing for good now you want him?
Why play this game....

I think alot of women think that men like a challenge. If a girl is too easy, many times guys start to thinking, if I got her this easy then maybe someone else did to and then the girl that was so awsome is now just an ordinary girl. I also think that women do this to see how much a guy really likes her before she commits herself body and soul so to speak. How many guys have chased after a girl mercilessly only to loose interest after she gave in to him? I think that most people just don't want to get hurt and alot of men are in a real big hurry to get with a girl, but I believe that a man that truely cares about you would want to know you as a person first so that you both can be sure that it isnt a passing infatuation. Men can have sex with a woman and just leave like it was nothing, that is harder for a girl/woman to do. So we have to be more careful. I have a few guy friends who have kids with women that they can't stand because they didnt take the time to get to know her before they hooked up, If everyone would just slow down and take their time maybe love wouldnt be a synonym for pain. Slow down and learn to be more patient and enjoy the chase, its the exciting part.

You have to think first of all... do you really want to be with a girl that wants to play games? Tell her from the get go... say "look I really want to get to know you better but I do have to say that I am not going to chase you. You have your own mind and make choices on your own. Would you like to....whatever you want to take her...??" if she says yes i would love to go, start the relationship there, if she say... well let me see what is going on... then tell her that she needs to get in contact with you... end it there... dont chase after a girl because if you do all she will want to do from that point on is play games and when you get into a disagreement she will start into that again and know that she can get away with it... and by the way... i know you guys do the same thing! good luck in finding the right girl for you!!!

Whoa there cowboy .... not all women play this game personally I find what you are saying to be stupid and I have never played that game... I may play a little hard to get in the beginning but if the interest is mutual then who has time for the game of chase.. You are right it is annoying but please be careful or women may wonder why men run at the first sign of commitment.... and drop this girl she isn't very tuned to your feelings and emotions....

Because men love the chase and women like to feel desired. Besides, if you caught all the girls you wanted, wouldn't you get bored? On the other hand, some women just don't know when to get a clue.... then again, the same goes for some men, too! Also, women need to know to what lengths a man is willing to go - it tells her if he is only interested in booty or interested in HER.

Women need to know your serious, because they do get played so much, so if you chase awhile, it may make her feel more secure. Not too sure if is the exact reason...just sometimes the chasing back and forth is fun.

they are like children playing hide and seek. If you play their game, they run away and annoy the hell out of you. But if you ignore them, they will keep nagging you. They need to know that they are needed or desired. If you dont show interest, they will feel insecure and think there is something wrong with them.

unfortunately I'm one of those women
the reasons i did it was usually i like the attention
the guys were giving me/more than one occasion.
but honestly i wasn't int rested in them.when i was i didn't play the game at all.i sure hope this helps;I'm sure the girl in question liked
the attention but wasn't really int rested in you;no fence;so stop playing with women who play and find other ones who are genuinely interested in just you.you sound like a very smart&nice guy.

I think that women play hard to get, because they want to make sure that the guy is really after her, and likes her
