You simply just wrote this riddle wrong. At the beginning before u list the alphabet, you are suppose to write, "did you know..." the answer is the mistake is that d isnt capitolized.
1, "find " should be capitalized, as it comes at the beginning of the sentence.
2. "find "should also be capitalized, for the same reason.
3. There is no period after obvious the word did is not capitalized. repost i no capitolized.
4. The first sentence in the quote above is a question and should end in one question mark, capitalization at the beggining of thesentance.
5. "find the error" should not be in quotations marks as no one is saying it.
These are pretty typical of the poor grammar and punctuation in most chain letters. This is probably why most people say they cannot find the error.
Since this is more or less a word-recognition trick. I've seen several chain letters that like to make a point of the fact that the brain often compensates for misspellings when the word is very close to correct.
BTW, I have found absolutely no evidence of any study involving this so-called error and Stanford University - putting this one firmly into the category of relatively harmless joke.

I've heard all different answers, some of them way to outside of the box to be correct. Others just plain stupid. I don't know if I'm right or not, but this answer came to me almost instantly. I only hope the person who posted this knows what the real answer is.
It says find the error. So where is the error? In the first line. It's literally saying find "the error"
