People get fat because they eat more calories than they burn off.
Sugar, fats, and starches are all high in calories and so take a lot of exercise to burn off the calories.
Chocolate has a lot of sugar and fat in it. Chips are nothing but fat and starch.

Water is the best drink because it has no calories in it, it helps the body clean itself out, and it replaces the water we lose every day through sweat and breathing.
The guideline is 8 glasses of water a day - a few more than that can't hurt but you can drink too much and that's not healthy either.

As long as you are eating a healthy diet some chocolate will not hurt you, drinking to much water can flush to many electrolytes out of your system but that take a great deal of water. Pepsi and other sodas have lots of sugar in them if you are drinking regular and adds a lot of extra calories which would cause weight gain. diet soda have aspartame in them. the body had no way of eliminating it and as with anything drink or eat in moderation

Good for you. Cutting down on the soft drinks and and hi fat, hi sodium snack foods like chips is always a good thing.

Next step is to exercise if you arent already....really get your heart pumping at least 2 or 3x a week.

You will lose weight if you exercise and eat healthy. Guaranteed.

No cold drinks like Pepsi and Coke contain a lot of sugar and can make you gain weight. You don't have to drink water though.

There are Diet Coke and Diet Pepsi on the market and they contain very little if any sugar at all. Try that instead of water.

Sodas. And I can tell the difference between Pepsi and Coke, also Diet Pepsi and Diet Coke. Pepsi uses citric acid and phosphoric acid, while Coke only uses phosphoric acid. That's the main difference in ingredients, and they definitely taste different!

Anything in excess is bad, otherwise probably not! I would cut back on the water. The older you get, the harder it becomes to take adipose tissue off!

A coke has 41 grams of carbs or sugar which is 12% of your daily requirement in 1 drink!

It is all in the caloric content. A can of the average soda contains 200 calories. Water is much better for you.

Well, all sodas such as pepsi, coca cola, etc. will make you gain weight if you have it everyday. You really shouldn't eat chocolate so much either but if you're not trying to lose weight i guess it's okay.

I read in my local newspaper that you can eat whatever you want during the day, your body will stay fit if you get exersize during your day.

anything can make you fat. Soda slows down your motableism (i think thats how you spell it) if you really like soda, just get the diet kind... i drink pop sortof alot, i just make sure i get enough exersize in my day!

hope this helps!
