I think a lot of what you are looking for would depend on several factors(I am Owner of a Travel Agency):
1-Length of cruise
2-Preferred port of departure
3-On your ideal cruise ship, are you looking for lots of activities? Parties? Just want to relax? Looking to be around a younger crowd or an older crowd?
4-How many, other than yourself, are going?
5-Do you have a Travel budget in place?
6-Date(s) of departure?
7-Is there a particular destination that you're particularly interested in?
These considerations are important, only because it will simplify your quest for a cruise that you will be happy with. There are lots of cruise options available to you depending on your preferences. Kindly either email me at: indysteve@yahoo.com or IM me through Yahoo Messenger, then we can see what is available to you.

Just got back from my very first cruise a few weeks ago, it was incredible too! Royal Caribbean really knows how to spoil you rotten. I really liked the Caribbean too, lots of places to shop if you like that and everything (on the ship and at most ports) are tax and duty free, so what you see if what you pay! I wouldn't go on a "small" ship if this is your first one, at least that's the advice that everyone gave me. Check out the Royal Caribbean website and you can take a 360 tour of most of the boat! Good Luck and happy cruising!

If you are talking about 'spring break', you are going to probably be limited to the cruise lines age policies.
How old are you and your friends?
The cruise lines differ but for example, every cabin that has someone under the age of 18 must have someone over the age of 21 staying in the same cabin.
Some are under 21/over 21
Some are under 21/over 25
Check this out before you start looking at lines that are not possible for you and your friends.

Pablo Cruise did the track Love will detect a manner. I bear in techniques the album conceal is blue. I nonetheless like that track. Beats Tom Cruise by potential of a mile. yet a Mediterranean cruise would be somewhat intense-high quality precise now.

The answers depend on many factors which you have not provided. Your age, location, interests and time available.
I'm a middle aged woman- have gone on 3 cruises with Holland America Line and enjoyed them emmensly. Out of Vancouver, the best is either Alaska trips during the summer or coastal cruises during the Fall.

i went on a royal caribbean cruise on the navigator of the seas...it was amazing! the ship was awesome...there was always so much to do! royal caribbean has since put a new ship into sailing, the liberty of the seas...that ship is even more amazing than the navigator! i went to the western caribbean (grand cayman, jamaica, mexico and a private island in haiti) and it was so much fun!
carnival might be good for you if you are going on spring break...i have heard that carnival tends to be younger and more of a party crowd. princess cruises are supposed to be for an older crowd, so i wouldn't do that one. i don't know much about norweign or celebrity.
good luck and have fun!

Go to Mexico or Caribbean. To save money go to the one closest to you. For example if you live in Seattle go to Mexico from California or if you live in NY go to the Caribbean from Florida. This will save money.
