I dont think that was the case. Selena was married, so her husband would have been the one to make a decision like that. I dont believe he would have denied her of proper medical treatment.
It didnt say anything or refer to anything like that in the movie they made about her either.

No. Selena was rushed to the hospital and was given a blood transfusion, but it was already too late.
Later when her father showed up at the hospital, he said she wouldn't have wanted a blood transfusion because of her faith (they were Jehovah's witnesses).
At that point she had already received the transfusion.

No. If I remember correctly, she was shot in the shoulder, and died after a few minutes from the blood loss. Hypothetically, she could have been saved if she had an immediate transfusion, because no internal organs were hit. However, she was at a hotel at the time, and sadly she died from her wound. I think that her parents were not nearby at the time.

Her name is spelled Selena and NO they didn't refuse. Besides that she was married and that decision would be left up to her husband Chris, not her parents.
