My dog at the two advent calanders that I bought for my girls. Each one has 25 small pieces of chocolate in it. I know it takes a lot, but do I need to be concerned about the dogs health, other than the fact that I am really mad!

I'd get over being mad and get on to being REALLY worried.

White chocolate: 200 ounces per pound of body weight. It takes 250 pounds of white chocolate to cause signs of poisoning in a 20-pound dog, 125 pounds for a 10-pound dog.
Milk chocolate: 1 ounce per pound of body weight. Approximately one pound of milk chocolate is poisonous to a 20-pound dog; one-half pound for a 10-pound dog. The average chocolate bar contains 2 to 3 ounces of milk chocolate. It would take 2-3 candy bars to poison a 10 pound dog. Semi-sweet chocolate has a similar toxic level.
Sweet cocoa: 0.3 ounces per pound of body weight. One-third of a pound of sweet cocoa is toxic to a 20-pound dog; 1/6 pound for a 10-pound dog.
Baking chocolate: 0.1 ounce per pound body weight. Two one-ounce squares of bakers' chocolate is toxic to a 20-pound dog; one ounce for a 10-pound dog.

My very small dog of 10 pounds ate a whole box of chocolate covered cherries once. She lived. But did she get sick. She vomited all day and had a bad bad case of the craps. So I dont' know if it would actually kill a dog as it should vomit it out.

I'm not exacly sure how much chocolate to a dog is toxic, but I do have a recipe to make your dog throw it up so that they won't get sick. Just make sure you do it quickly, and outside.
My neighbour's Lab ate chocolate, and his epilepsy meds, and a vet told him to give the dog 2 tablespoons of hydrogen poroxide (the stuff from your pharmacy for cuts). They won't want to take it, but you have to make them. As soon as it's in, it will start to react to the stomach acids, and they'll throw it right back up. Don't let them eat the vomit, and keep them outside for a while to make sure they are finished.

Good Luck!

how much chocolate can the dog eat before the owner kills it ,
His health is more in danger from the owners anger that the chocolate ,
so dont worry
you wont have enough chocolate in the house to harm the dog ,if it overdoses he will just throw it up
and then be in danger all over again from the owner.
